(record 1, side 1; xsm 152412) graded NEAR-MINT MINUS (NM-), just beautiful. Much shine with some 'graying'. Label is stellar; no spindle wear. PHARAOH'S DANCE 20:07

(record 2, side 1; xsm 152414) graded NEAR-MINT MINUS (NM-), just beautiful. Much shine with some 'graying'. Label shows perhaps one spindle soft 'hair-like' but this is seen ONLY under bright light. >that many will not see. SPANISH KEY 17:30 / JOHN McLAUGHLIN 4:23
(record 2, side 2; xsm 152415) graded STRONG VERY GOOD + (STRONG VG+) with a few very light, superficial, surface 'hair-likes' CAUTION> a minimum of which (2-4) may be longer than 1.1/4 inches (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters) >that many folks will not see (that soft). With some 'graying', much shine still intact. Label shows perhaps one spindle soft 'hair-like' but this is seen ONLY under bright light. >that many will not see. The 'gatefold' Cover;
The cover remains nice with some wear. Graded VERY GOOD +- (VG+-), with no seam splits and a small 2 inch (5 centimeter) 'inner-gatefold' split. Graded (VG+-) with the usual 'front/back' ring, faded 'tip' corners, a bit of seam 'peeling' and few surface wrinkles that accompany a VG+- grading. (please see pictures)

Bitches Brew was Miles Davis's first gold record, selling more than half a million copies. Upon release, it received a mixed response, due to the album's unconventional style and revolutionary sound. Later, Bitches Brew gained recognition as one of jazz's greatest albums and a progenitor of the jazz rock genre, as well as a major influence on rock and funk musicians...and auctioned here, is one of the early copies made...
