Description
This Limited Edition 12 LP complete set of Miles Davis on Prestige is part of collection of approx. 600 LP's from a serious collector. I would like to write "Mint" condition of the quaility of all 12 LP's, but according to the Goldmine Jazz Album Price Guide, basically no used LP can have "mint condition" status. These records look like they have never been played, and seeing that the collector has almost all of the Miles Davis Prestige LP individually, I'm sure that he bought this box just to have it, and may not have ever played them! With that in mind, I would rate the vinyl as "near mint".
The Box is also in VG+ condintion. The only visible minus is that it shows a bit of yellow discoloring on the plastic outer-covering.
This was a limited edition printed in 10,000 copies in which this is pressing # 4206.
There is a beautiful insert which includes a long essay written by Dan Morgenstern. Plus a discography and extensive information about all the recorded tracks.
As with all of the LP's from this collection, the condition is very high. The owner was a true collector, who valued his collection and treated them accordingly.
This LP is part of a 600+ collection that I'm selling piece by piece. Bought from a serious collector of jazz (mainly modern) including Blue Note, Verve, Riverside, Contemporary...and other labels. Almost all LP's are in outstanding condition. Many look as if they have never been played! There are many more artists to come! Plenty of Miles Davis, Bud Powell, Cannonball Adderley etc...
