YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!

From Columbia Records (CS 9875) this is  IN A SILENT WAY  by MILES DAVIS.  It is an original stereo pressing recorded February 18, 1969, at the CBS 30th Street Studio B in New York, and released July 30 of the same year.  It was recorded in one sitting and incorporates an element of classical music: the sonata form.  In addition, it is considered by most as the first album in Davis' fusion efforts. Controversial at its release, today it is regarded as Miles Davis' most influential album, more so even than Kind Of Blue, Sketches Of Spain or the 1957 trio of works for Prestige Records: Bags' Groove, Cookin' and Relaxin'.
The jacket is sturdy and clean showing no flaws or blemishes and no signs of aging, just slight toning on back surface (see photo).  Corners are near perfect 90-degree angles and the spine is perfectly blocked with print dead center.  Even with the minor fading this jacket rates at least NEAR MINT, NM+ if you're in a generous mood.  As solid an album cover as you'll find!
The LP is SEALED within the Columbia plastic inner sleeve in the fashion of day.  The labels look clean and playing surfaces appear MINT. Some dealers deride the word "MINT" saying that no such thing exists, puffing up their chests and stating that THEY would never use such a grade.  OK. Bully for them.  Personally, I like the word and will continue to use it when a record deserves.  This record appears to deserve!
We have housed the LP within a plain, heavy-duty outer jacket to protect the original during transport and for your long-term storage needs at home.  The plain, white jacket is, of course, made of acid-free materials.
We have placed a low opening bid on the record with NO RESERVE.  Good luck bidders and HAVE FUN because that's what it's all about.
