Offering up for Bids:
An incredibly hard to find (In this condition) Original 1958 WHITE LABEL PROMO Columbia 6 - Eye of Miles Davis' Compilation / Promotional MONO LP titled "Jazz Track". As stated this was released in 1958 on Columbia Records # CL 1268.
This great LP Features John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Cannonball Adderley, Paul Chambers, Jimmy Cobb, Kenny Clarke and others. Conditions as follows:
LP: Vinyl is close to NM, however, 2 very light scratches on side 1 make this vinyl rate only EX. Both sides play through wonderfully without a skip or loud pops in any way, it sounds great!! However there are the normal light pops nearly 60 year old record, that has been reasonably well cared for. I would be proud to have it in my Collection if I collected Jazz. I'm tempted to rate it EX+. But I prefer to err on the safe side.
Outer Jacket: Front is Vibrant and bright, very light ringwear and looks wonderful. Spine is Square, and complete no splits. Back is where there are a few issues. Name in black marker at top. Paste on is missing small piece at top left. some writing missing in center. It's shame, but the back brings cover down to a VG+ overall. It is very sound, and front is great, but the condition of the back drops it considerably.
