The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid of an abandoned storage locker.  (Yes, these things really do happen) The collection belonged to a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, after having made a run of it during the 1960's.  An incredibly large volume of LP's remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition.  With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await.  My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner by both set sale and auction. 

I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed.  (If an item is sealed there is no way to know about any  label variations, but keep in mind that the newest it could be would be summer of 1970) I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find.

This of course is the King Kong of Jazz recordings. This is as clean a copy as I've ever seen.  It has been play tested recently on high end gear and the sound was transcendent.  The labels are as clean as they get.  cover is like new with the exception of the letters B & L are scuffed off of the word Blue on the spine. (You can live with it).

Front cover features the typo of "Adderly."  Stampers in the dead wax read: XSM 47326-1BH & XSM47327-1BK
