Up for auction here is "Milestones" by Miles Davis on the Columbia label, catalog #CL 1193. The "6 eye" original LP is VG with several surface marks and a general "well-loved" and well-played look to it, but it plays quite well with only occasional low level surface noise and strong fidelity. (I have put up a video on youtube playing the first minute so you can hear how it plays for yourself....search for "Miles 1193 sample". The cover also has issues. Obviously, the front lower part is very scratched up. Also, most of the bottom half of the cover (front and back) seems like it may have been wet at some point in time..... you know how cardboard absorbs water and swells a bit and then dries out.....that's what it feel like. Still, if you want an affordable original that plays well....this is it. Please view my other auctions for more great jazz LPs.
Shipping is $4 in the US (or $8 for Priority Mail), $14 to Canada and $24 to the rest of the world. Additional LPs are $1 each in the US, $3 to Canada and $6 each to the rest of the world. I pack records outside of the covers to protect the seams from splitting. They are shipped in dedicated record mailers with padded inserts. I spend a lot of time and money on shipping with care so your record looks as good when it arrives as it did when it left.
