‘On The Corner’ divided critics. . Even though Miles had been incorporating contemporary rock and soul elements - distorted guitars, heavy electric bass lines, synths etc into his music for a few years, it was considered a sell out with its funky beats, choppy electric guitars, and exotic Indian seasonings. Even the garish cover indicated that this record was for brothers on the street – an audiece Miles directly aimed for.
This is a Dutch import and from a well cared for jazz collection and shows no sign of play. No scuffs, hair or paper lines. Sleeve has shrinkwrap still on.
You could pay over a staggering £138.00 for an early issue elsewhere on eBay....or get this one for a LOT for less!
