Description

Miles Davis "On the Corner" LP, released 1972 on Columbia (C-31906), stereo

As the cover art suggests and the sound within confirms, Miles was listening to a lot of James Brown and Sly & the Family Stone when he cut this album.  "On the Corner" is definitely in funk fusion mode, although not quite as dark as the material on "Bitches Brew."

Condition of vinyl is VG+.  Jacket has some light wear on the corners and around the opening.  There is also a bit of creasing near the top spine that is only visible from the back.  Note: This is NOT the version with the gatefold jacket.

Thanks for looking! Please be sure to check out my other vinyl auctions. I will combine on multiple wins to save you on shipping costs.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING OR E-MAILING:

1. I definitely appreciate interest in my listings, but I WILL NOT end auctions early for offers outside of normal bidding. That is against Ebay rules, so please place a bid instead of asking me to end the auction.

2. PAYMENT INFO: Please wait until you receive my invoice before sending payment. Payment via Paypal must be received within 5 days of auction's end.

3. SHIPPING COSTS: In my listings, I use Ebay’s shipping calculator to determine shipping costs based on package weight and shipping services that I offer. So shipping costs for your location (anywhere in the world) as displayed in the listing should be accurate. Combined shipping costs for multiple wins will be worked out AFTER the auctions. (A small handling fee is included in the listed shipping rate to cover the cost of cardboard mailers and packing materials.)

4. SHIPPING FOR BIDDERS IN THE UNITED STATES: I know how much many buyers like the low cost of USPS Media Mail shipping, and I do offer it in some listings. However, I reserve the option not to offer Media Mail when listing rare/expensive items. Unfortunately I’ve been on the sending AND receiving end of records damaged by rough handling in transit with Media Mail in the past, and that is an awful type of heartbreak! So to be on the safe side, I may only offer Priority shipping for certain irreplaceable items.

5. SHIPPING FOR BIDDERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES: I now require any item OR COMBINATION OF ITEMS totaling $50.00 or more (before shipping costs) to ship via a service with reliable tracking, such as USPS International Priority Mail, UPS, FedEx, etc. And because of Ebay/Paypal rules for sellers regarding signature confirmations, I require any item OR COMBINATION OF ITEMS totaling $250.00 or more (INCLUDING shipping) to ship via UPS Expedited or better. This means I WILL NOT ship high-end items out of the USA via the cheaper USPS First Class International service. I realize Priority Mail and UPS services are more expensive, but this will be my policy for shipping rare items internationally as long as the current rules for sellers are in place. On the positive side, these premium shipping services do allow me to get the items to my buyers as quickly and safely as possible, and that makes us both happy. But if you do not agree to this policy, then please do not bid. Thank you for understanding!

6. Unfortunately, I can no longer offer shipping to FRANCE or ITALY due to the high incidence of claims of packages being lost by the postal services in these countries.

7. TAXES/DUTIES: International packages will be declared with the sale price as the value. Any import taxes or duties will be sole responsibility of the buyer.
