Description

Just returned from a fantastic road trip, we're up and running again, ready to offer terrific music to all our customers, old and new!  We will focus on LPs, 45s and 78s and will begin here by offering some serious Jazz gems, all in the condition you've come to expect from Spirit of Sound.  All offerings are visually graded. Should there be flaws, I will certainly describe them to the best of my abilities.  Also, I am pleased to play grade any item on request.  
MILES DAVIS, WORKIN' WITH THE MILES DAVIS QUINTET;  Prestige PRLP 7166, 1959, 203 South Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ Address, Mono, Deep Groove edition with RVG in trail off deadwax area (PRLP 7166A/PRLP 7166B). Miles on trumpet with John Coltrane, tenor sax; Red Garland, piano; Paul Chambers, bass and Philly Joe Jones, drums.  First, be clear, this is not a great copy.  Take a good look at the photos. Vinyl with original glossy sheen has multiple light marks that create surface noise in places.  Play grade is Good+/Very Good, plays through without skips. Labels have light wear around spindle hole.  Jacket looks pretty good front with major splits top and left opposite opening, back with tape residue in four places and check marks beside two songs (neither obscure any text, all is readable).  All said, reasonably rare find.
