Description

Vintage deep groove, mono pressing of this 1959 release, featuring an all-star lineup of musicians with Miles: John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and "Philly" Joe Jones. Runoff groove has RVG (for the famed recording engineer Rudy Van Gelder).

Record looks near-mint but sadly doesn't play that way. It has some surface noise/crackling, noticeable mainly between cuts and during quieter sections and intros. There are no scratches though.

Cover is VG+, with corner dings and discoloration (age?) mainly on the back. There is a small rubber stamped D on the back upper right.
