NEW LINE 7 tracks demo tape

I guess this band was from Germany as I got this tape from a friend of mine living in Berlin at the time (mid 80's).

New Line was one of those DM clones that was the spawn of the mid eighties...and it is a blatant example here cos

out of the 7 tracks ,3 are Depeche Mode covers.But this band proved they had some kind of identity cos their own tracks

are truly interesting and nice pièces of melancholic minimal synth pop,my absolute favourite is "Together tonight".

Homemade and extra rare !!!

Well,I was quite into tapes in the 80’s and before I started collecting records,I swapped and bought tapes all over the world for about 10 years,I used to buy them in multiple copies for trades or I got demo tapes from bands or from mates.All of these items are in EX condition.What you see is what you get.Please bear in mind that these are demo tapes and consequently most of them were either home recorded or recorded without any professional equipment which may account for the “amateur”sound quality.No worries,it is audible of course but it’s not always top notch professional quality or crystal clear CD quality,but I’m sure you all know what I mean.

I can send you short soundclips,but please be lenient as I had to record it sort of live with my MP3 player next to the speakers,and I don’t know why but I couldn’t convert them onto MP3,so you will receive a Wave file (not a heavy file though,something between 250Ko and 1Mo),if you want to hear more,you can always ring me and I will play tracks over the phone for you.

For expensive and rare items,I strongly recommend you go for registered air mail for extra safety.REGISTERED parcel is $8 extra.

Regarding delivery times,I really advise you to choose Air mail because Economy can be extremely long (more than 3 weeks sometimes),so no need to come moaning afterwards if this happens (some penny pinching customers sometimes think I am the postman/delivery man and complain it is too slow).Once I’ve received payment,I always do my part of the job,so better spend a few more dollars if you want your item to be delivered promptly.
