Description
MINOR THREAT - 'Filler' 7" sleeve. Yellow sleeve indicates it belongs to the second pressing of the record. Yellow sleeves seem to be the hardest to find in good condition, as they were printed on much thinner stock than the first, third and fourth pressings. This copy has some bends, evidence of ringwear to the front and some fading along the very top. Also some small tears along the top, particularly through the 'S' of 'Beecher St.'. This is something that affects most copies of all pressings of the record; the sleeves were oversized and so stick out above other records when in a box or pile. There is also a section of lettering at the bottom of the back cover ('Inner Ear') where the text has been rubbed off. The second picture shows these defects to the back cover. Overall though the sleeve is in super condition considering its age (32 years old) and the flimsiness of the paper. I've also included a copy of the original insert for the 7". Ideal for anyone who owns a record with a missing/damaged sleeve and/or insert. Also, the 2nd pressing record is the one most likely to show up without a sleeve, so buy this and then hunt one down.
