MINOR THREAT “In My Eyes” 3rd pressing MINT CONDITION
DESCRIPTION: Absolutely MINT condition copy of 3rd pressing (Black Vinyl, Light Blue Label with Red Ink) of Minor Threat's 2nd 7" EP, “In My Eyes”, released in December 1981. Dischord No. 5 / Limp Records No. 41, in rare xeroxed sleeve.  Only 2,000 copies were pressed of this 3rd and final pressing.  Cover is printed on non-glossy, very thick paper (or thin cardstock).  Includes printed lyric sheet.
 This Minor Threat record has 4 songs: "In My Eyes", "Out of Step (with the world)", "Guilty of Being White",  and "Steppin' Stone".  Recorded by Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia (on 4-track tapedeck, in the basement of his house).  Produced by Minor Threat. Mixed by Minor Threat and Don.  Made possible by Skip Groff (of Yesterday & Today records, and owner of Limp Records).
CONDITION / PROVENANCE:  This record is in mint condition, and has never been played.  It has been away from light and dust since it was made 27 or 28 years ago.  The glue used to fashion the cover dried up over the years, as is the case with many of the covers we hand-cut, folded and glued.  I am thinking of suing the company that made the rubber cement we used.  Anyway, I took a picture of the record showing the dried glue, but since then I?have carefully glued the cover back together with nice acid-free glue, so it looks just like it did when first made.  There are traces of excess glue on the left side of the front cover (see photo), but they are really not very noticeable, especially since the non-glossy paper stock used in this 3rd pressing really muted the contrast in the photos used on the front and back cover.  That's a nice way of saying the photos looks washed out.  This record is as nice as any of the copies I am keeping in my permanent archives.  Good luck finding another copy in such pristine condition.  This record is unconditionally guaranteed to be original, from 1981.  It comes from my (Jeff Nelson - Minor Threat/Dischord Records) punk archives, which are being downsized after continuing to be described as "too big" and "insane" or containing "more than my potential kids or grandkids will ever want."  Please add me as a favorite seller on eBay, and then you can see what other punk/hardcore flyers and records as well as other jetsam I'll be putting up for sale......
