Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Original 1970 first pressing = cool West Coast psych rock with fuzz guitar, the right breezy harmonies and a touch of rural, but COUNTRY FUNK HIPPIES??? No such thing here: Country Funk were a Los Angeles group consisting of Adam Taylor (lead guitar), Hal Paris (rhythm guitar, keys), Jeff Lockwood (bass), Joe Pfeifer (drums)
Few artist names or album titles have ever been so misleading as this band’s. Though there no such elements of funk and country in the mix, instead, their beautifully crafted songs and harmonies (to say nothing of some biting electric guitar) are far closer in feel to the West Coast psychedelia of Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Original 1970 release the album is a long-lost gem that is sure to please fans of US West Coast rock.Swirling, harmony enriched psychedelic and rural-edged rock from Country Funk - an odd record that's kind of a more psychedelia tinged sibling to sounds of west coast groups of the Gram Parsons, Byrds and CSN & Y era! There's nothing particularly funky about the sound - West Coast Psyche might have been a more literal moniker - with excellent group harmonies, buzzing guitar fuzz, changing melodic lines and more than enough rural rock elements to keep it in a cool terrestrial groove.
