Original 1974 U.S. vinyl first pressing of rare Italian progressive rock classic ...the second album by this crew who display high quality of multi leveled instrumentations within strong melodies, of particularly note are the guitar and keyboard structured songs that grow with each listen and reminding of early Genesis with Gabriel period....
Yes, this (Peter Gabriel era)"Genesis" oriented band released two efforts in early / middle seventies. But their influences also include early PFM for instance. This is mostly heard while the opening song "Cosmic Mind Affair". Vocal harmonies are well arranged and the use of keyboards adds a good feel to this quite good song actually ("Professor" also has the same patterns but with a more "Yes" flavour attached to it).
Most songs are of medium length (between five and seven minutes or so) which is fine since it enables to propose decent developed tracks, with complex played theme changes and vocal/instrumental interplay. "Bar Gazing" is a more pastoral song fully in line with the "Trespass" period. Sweet passages (mellotron) mixed with some rockier ones. .
The title track is less catchy: more complex rhythms-oriented, loose, with weird vocals. The next song "Openiong Act" is a mix of "Yes" and "Gabriel" vocals (!) on a jazzy background. The closing number, "Coffee Song" is sowehow a kaleidoscope of the whole album: acoustic guitar to start, weird vocals but well crafted instrumental, very exquisite.

CONDITION: The cover is clean...very hard one to find without shelf wear, this copy completely clean, M- no problem anywhere, only a little delete mark near top right, otherwise sharp solid and tight all over with 4 sharp coners, a great fit in any collection
The vinyl is the same, LOOKS UNPLAYED very clean and clear, Mint over both sides and clean labels too ...a TOP copy....
