We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Great LP right from the start. This 1972 double album set was Stephen's finest hour after his CSNY stint. The combination of talents with ex Byrds, ex Flying Burrito Brothers Chris Hillman definitively is effective throughout...
...Manassas.contains 4 main topics and approximate about the same different music styles, distributed on the four LP sides. On the first side (called "The Raven") is straight rock at Stephen Still's best. The flip side 2 ("The Wilderness") provides pure rural-rock and bluegrass music. The Lp ("Consider") continues with folkrock and rock on the 3rd side of the second LP and comes to conclusion ("Rock & Roll...") with hot rock, bluesrock and blues on side 4...stephen stills' masterpiece reached #4 on the billboard pop charts largely due to the contributing personnel. Chris hillman is particularly great on vocals and guitar. Manassas side 4 titled "Rock & Roll Is Here To Stay" is dedicated to fallen musical giants: Jimi Hendrix, Duane Allman, and Al (Blind Owl) Wilson of Canned Heat...
Album highlights include:"Bound to Fall" not only posseses some of Stephen's fiercest acoustic playing but shows part of his lyrical prowess...Jet Set" is a straight forward blues rocker with good guitar, especially the dueling solos at the end and harmonica, not unlike blues done by the Stones or even the Yardbirds. "It Doesn't Matter" sounds a lot like Stephen's other projects with the Crosby, Nash, and Young. "Move Around" puts a synthesizer of all instruments as a backing instrument, a nice touch to this somewhat psychedelic number. "Treasure" is a great jam song with some fantastic guitar, one of the album's best. The album is a smooth listen, a solid piece of musicianship with varied styles performed at a high level. Though many songs follow a similar style, the listener never loses interest....
