Description
You get a Rare, Mint, R&B Soul, Blues Single: (Side A) The Edited Radio Version of STOOP DOWN BABY and (Side B) The Original Single Version of STOOP DOWN BABY by CHICK WILLIS. The record "label" has two different colors: Yellow for the Radio version and Orange for the original version. Recorded on the LA VAL Record label. The record vinyl is Rated M- or Mint Minus , SEE BELOW how I rate my vinyl. ***PLUS...you get a Original 8x10 Promotional Photo of Chick Willis the Stoop Down Man.
When Stoop Down Baby was release radio stations refused to play it because they said it was to nasty (can you believe it!). In Cleveland it was played for one day and as a result of that the distributor ordered 2,000 copies in one day. The very next day the record was pulled off the air, they said it was to nasty. Thus the introduction of THIS Radio Version in the hope for air play. But when that failed to get the air play, focus turned to the Mom and Pop Juke Boxes and as a result, it became a Juke Box Hit! It wen to Number One in Chicago!

HOW I GRADE MY RECORDS:
M : Mint, a brand new record.
M-/MINT- : Means mint minus, no notable scratches or wear probably rarely played
VG+ : Very Good Plus - A used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG : Very Good - A used played copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and likely light to moderate surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages.
VG- : Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
G+ : Good Plus. In the record grading world, "Good" is not good. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records only guaranteed not to skip.
