The rare MONO release offers different song mixes from the stereo issue and as well offers a strong punchy production which sounds powerful, as playback should be intended when talking the soound of the mid sixties rocker scene....

The Best of The Animals was The Animals' first mid sixties best tracks overview. The album was released in February 1966 in the United States, but never released in the United Kingdom. The album showcased The Animals' tough-edged rocker hits combined with their more devoted blues and R&B workouts. Led by the powerful vocals of Eric Burdon, the album remains one of their most dynamic listens, with timeless powerhouse tunes one after another, stringing together through both sides. A better original than this, you won't find, unless it's (highly unlikely) found still sealed...
