This is an original 1964 PROMOTIONAL PRESSING of GARY USHER's "SOUNDS of the THE WEIRD-OHS" album on MERCURY RECORDS MG 20976. Gary Usher was friends of THE BEACH BOYS along with being part of other surf groups. Later, he would produce some fine Psych Music.

The Promo Stamped record cover is graded at MINT 9 and the glistenning, shiny vinyl is also graded at MINT 9. There is shrink wrap attached.

Promo issues of this album were only distributed in Southern California. You had to go the "Hawk Model Kit Store" in California just to purchase the standard pressing. Sometimes you could receive a discount if you also bought a model kit at the same time.  These albums weren't sold in other store chains.

The record label is the Mercury Green Promo Label. Both the record cover and record are rigid and stiff. Songs are:

"Davy, The Psycho Cyclist", "Endsville Eddie", "Killer McBash", "Huey's Hut Rod", "Flame Out Freddy", "Drag Hag", "Sling Rave Curvette", "Digger", "Wade A Minute", "Daddy The Swingin' Surbanite", "Leaky Boat Louie", and "Francis the Foul".

Surf and drag music at it's best led by Gary Usher with color drawings and lyrics to all the songs. Distribution? "Disgusting Music by Hairy Records". Any resemblance of any the cartoon charactors and your mother-in-Law is purely coincidental.
