In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. ...What the Moody Blues did in crafting this album back in 1967 required some bold artistic risks, and the risks that the band took paid off handsomely, as this album maintains every bit of the vigor and freshness that it had at the time of its release. This album is 50 years old for god's sake! In those 50 years, many of the in-the-know collectors have forgotten how good it is
So, In 1967 the Moody Blues recorded this heady, psychedelic, concept album, “Days of Future Passed.” While it didn’t receive air play until the early 70’s, it is a conceptual reflection of a single day, beautifully orchestrated and filled with thought provoking images. The Lp ushers in a season of “dream logic” in music. To say seemingly contrary word clusters, loosely related, would make you sound more intelligent, all to the snapping of fingers in smoky coffee houses. "Tuesday Afternoon" is the perfect pop-crafted gem that rivals any Beatles adventure, with the whole of side two flowing effortlessly from it as each song (each day) is linked by means of the surrounding backing arrangements, until it reaches its zenith with the climax of "Nights in White Satin".
The sound is very much a part of the entire experience. The strings of the backing arrangements as sweet as any Decca LP, the sound-stage wide and deep as a symphony. For those of you who still think Mobile Fidelity is the king on this one, here's a UK Deramic Sound System pressing that demonstrates what truly natural highs really are. The Moodies used Decca's classical music engineers, not their pop-rock ones, and those guys knew what the actual instruments were supposed to sound like!
