Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! This exciting UK-only Columbia Records '60s pressing was not released in the USA. The first official Yardbirds Lp was unveiled on the world in 1964 and immediately propelled the group to top level "British Invasion" status next to the The Beatles & Rolling Stones ... Again, this is a 60+ year old release is a final collection artifact with impeccably clean cover and M- clean vinyl! (See full details below)
- The Yardbirds LP was recorded at a live gig in a London club in 1964 before an enthusiastic audience. This was the Yardbirds second live recording, the first being Sonny Boy Williamson and the Yardbirds recorded in 1963. Eric Clapton's guitar playing is much improved from the earlier recording and this album is a must for fans of Clapton's early blues period. The Yardbirds' debut was a scholarly look at how the blues tradition passed onto British fanboys and it's a key document to see just how animated the venues were playing those blues covers, but other than imagery and the very recognizable set of classics. The Yardbirds debut LP in their home country was, unusually, a live album and but perhaps the best option for them because live on stage was where they shined. This legendary set captures the Clapton-era Yardbirds at their best. Raw energy... The Early Yardbirds, were like the early Rolling Stones very true to the roots of blues, and have reached some sort of legend status for being one of the first 60´s groups to introduce a harder sound. Which is also well displayed in the mid solo/jam break-outs within....
