In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE 1966 ORIGINAL LOCAL MICHIGAN...total 'cool'...straight from the garage...
One can expect to find killer garage rocking nuggets throughout this platter with loads of fuzz guitar and appropriate snotty vocals ...on the level with some of the better garage bands of the era in a quite sloppy album. But it is spirited sloppiness, the hallmark of every great garage rock band. Charm is everything when dealing with garage bands in the sixties and Tino and the Revlons deliver! Apparently the album has a high stars rating in the lauded Hans Pokora Book Of Dreams rarities -- selling for $300+ upwards in collector circles over the years -- because it's a rare local Michigan pressing from 44 years ago, and includes several highlights topped off by a wicked cool fuzzed "Rumble" which does Link Wray's version proud. Every garage band in the sixties did a version of "Louie Louie" and the Revlons version has to be heard to be believed with the helium/snearing vocals...punked-out to the maxx...( Tino handled most of the vocals with a strange, but engaging Mickey Mouse / snotty punk teen edge to his voice) ...there's a formidable version of the Stones "Last Time" even if the guitatist doesn't know the famous Keith Richard guitar riff...The album concludes with a happy Tino introducing the band and urging us to 'maintain' our 'cool'. (Sadly, Tino did not. Rumor has it that he was killed in Jamaica many years ago.)
A guilty pleasure right down to the cheesy drawings of the go-go girls on the cover.
