Description
Up for auction is a super clean copy of the rare Minutemen double album "Ballot Result" originally released on SST Records (SST 068) in 1986. This is a guaranteed, authentic first U.S. pressing, not a cheap reissue or import, like most copies on eBay. Still in opened original factory shrink wrap. Includes two records, plus original SST sales catalog sheet insert.
This copy and all first pressings have the following etched in the matrix: Record One, Side One: "You choose a hero's kingdom..." Side Two: "...or a mean democracy". Record Two, Side One: "You want to focus" Side Two: "Bofus?". Side Two labels on each disc are blank green. Song list only on Side One. No UPC/bar code on back cover.
Cover is in pristine condition, still in shrink. Virtually no signs of previous wear or handling. Still looks as new. Grade the cover Near Mint (NM).
The two vinyl records are also in beautiful condition, with virtually no signs of previous handling or play. No marks around spindle holes. Shiny and new. Maybe the slightest faint signs of having been taken in and out of the paper inner sleeves a couple times, hardly worth mentioning. Maybe played once, if that. Grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM). This is the nicest copy for sale on eBay.
