Description
MISFITS - Cough/Cool b/w She on Blank Records from 1977. This is from the original pressing of 500. Matrix on A-Side: A-101 rich spectrum B klyn NY. Matrix on B-Side: B-102 rich. Vinyl is in excellent condition. That's right; excellent! Nice, clean & shiny. Plays beautifully. Cover shows a bit of yellowing but otherwise very, very nice. Seams in tact and corners nice & sharp. Actual item pictured so take a good look. One would be hard-pressed to find another in such nice condition. I have placed a reserve but it is well below the highest price this record has yielded in the past.
I have owned this record for close to 20 years and have treated with all the care that such an item deserves. I acquired it from a reputable dealer here in NYC way back when. I recently double checked with a local record merchant and punk collectible enthusiast to insure that this is in fact an original, though I had no reason to think otherwise. I have collected records since my teens and know my records. I hate to part with this, the Holy Grail of Punk, but I recently dropped a ton of dough on a new guitar and a number of other goodies and am forced to part with it. I hope it finds a good home.
Payment by PayPal or money order (sorry, no IMO's) only within 7 days of aution end. I will package with an abundance of care and ship via registered mail. Winning bidder in the lower 48 pays $12 shipping & the rest of the world must pay $18. I suggest insuring this gem (at winning bidder's expense) but cannot quote insurance cost up-front, as I don't know what the final price is. We must discuss this after auction end.
