Description

Totally rare item!  Original PROMO "Fiend Club" version of The Misfits "Horror Business" 7" ep!  The normal yellow vinyl version of the 7" with "Horror Business", "Teenagers From Mars" and "Children In Heat", but the sleeve is unique!  A super high gloss one sided "pre-print" slick, probably done as a test press to see how the sleeve would look with this style of printing and paper.  The slick is the front side of the sleeve with the "Crimson Ghost" image only.  The regular version of this sleeve was done with more of a matte style print and had a back to the cover.  Guaranteed original as I bought this about seven years ago from record dealers on the West Coast who had picked up a Misfits collection.  The slick/sleeve is in near mint condition, as is the record!  A rarer Misfits item is not to be found and I don't ever remember seeing one of these offered elesewhere EVER!  Act now or you'll miss a once in a lifetime chance to own a unique Misfits piece!  Please see scans (and the reflection in one is done on purpose to emphasize the glossy element of the sleeve) for a look a this gem!!

As I've had a few questions about just what the sleeve looks like, here's some extra info:  it is a one sided, insert-style piece of paper.  Lighter stock paper than the regular sleeves were made of and not an envelope sleeve, but an insert.  Nothing on the back of the insert, just blank.  Please e-mail if you have further questions.  Thanks!

To answer further questions, this was sold to me as a "Fiend Club Promo".  It looks to me like it was printed to be one piece and I don't see any signs of there ever having been a back to the sleeve.  The paper style and glossy look of this is very different from the "regular" sleeve.  Just thought I'd let that be known.
