MISFITS Collection 1 Wolfbane WR33 1986 First Press LP w/ Doyle Only Autos RARE. Condition is Used.
History of album - this album is from my childhood collection. Long story short, I used to go from music store to music store in New Jersey and New York City sifting through old CDs and vinyl and picked up anything I thought was different or interesting. Landed this sometime around 1993.
History of autographs- I obtained the autographs personally around 1995 at a record store called Music Man in Paramus New Jersey. At the time, both were doing auto signings together across the region.
Condition of cover - Item was purchased used and already had some wear. As you can see in the picture, the overall condition I would classify as midgrade (surface wear and light crease) and still extremely presentable.
Condition of record - as you can see from the pictures, the record is in great shape with minimal wear. I never played the album myself and it appears the previous owner hadn’t played it much either.
You are bidding on a truly one of a kind collectible! The band intended this to be a compact disc release only until WOLFBANE records produced a limited amount of vinyl in 1986 out of France. Later on, by popular demand, they re-released another version in 1988. This version had a red and black center sticker on the record.
As you can see in the pictures, this is the original first press with the black and white sticker.
Looking around I see there’s very little information regarding the history and value of this record but I do believe it’s extremely unique - especially with the autographs.
