This recording was made at the peak of the song's theatrical success. The "X-" prefix and the etched single-sided format are definitive markers of the mid-1900s.
This is a remarkable historical artifact: a single-sided 10-inch 78 RPM record featuring the legendary Music Hall star Florrie Forde. Released on the distinctive green International Zonophone Company label, this disc represents the very early era of commercial sound recording.
