Description

Campy, Bawdy Funny and Fabulous-
Miss Rae Bourbon "That New Bourbon" 7" boxset.  HTF "box set" consisting of 3 45's, 6 songs total.  Rae "Ray" Bourbon was a part of the Pansy Craze. The Pansy Craze was a period in which gay clubs and performers (known as pansy performers) experienced a surge in underground popularity in the United States.  All the records play and sound great, but the sleeves have seen better days, having seam splitting (someone taped the splits with clear scotch tape at some point)and fraying.  The picture on the cover sleeve has some wear and tear, including a rough patch (where a price tag may have been). 

This record set is signed on the cover, but who it is to, is hard to make out.  I can't guarantee that the signature is actually by Rae, me being no signature expert. All in all, it is a great piece of LGBT  history and memorabilia.  The record is from Lasses Record Co. label out of New Orleans.

The songs on the records are as follows: Side 1-"Madam", Side 2-"Native", Side 3-Dirty Fairy", Side 4- "Hollywood Drive-Inn", Side 5- "Spanish" and Side 6-"New Woman".
