A real all-time classic from the East Coast and in tip-top condition. This extremely good melody-maker from the States was given 9 of 10 points by the FLEX book/website (US Hardcore/Punk). eBay prices: $52 + $55 + $50 + $89 (US). The first MISSION OF BURMA 12” 6-track EP goes by the title SIGNALS, CALLS AND MARCHES. You are bidding on the original first pressing, released on Boston’s finest mini-punk label ‘Ace Of Hearts’ records in 1981 (catalogue number AHS 1006). Complete with insert. Label mates are the NEIGHBORHOODS, CLASSIC RUINS and so on. As additional here is the comment from the wonderful FLEX:
- Debut 12” with two of their catchiest and most memorable tracks (Revolver & Photograph); the other tracks range from experimental but still melodic punk (Red) to calmer (Fame…) and more experimental stuff (Outlaw). A classic. [9]
- Erste miniLP den beiden wohl eingängigsten Burma-Tracks (“That’s when…” und “This is not a Photograph”). Die übrigen Songs reichen von leicht angeschrägtem, aber trotzdem noch poppigem Punk (Red) bis zu ruhigeren Songs (Fame…) und experimentelleren Sounds (Outlaw). Klassiker.

Versand / Mailing: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
Bezahlung / Payment: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal. All orders outside Germany which exceed a value of €35, $50 or £30 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional €2, $3 or £2. All winners from Italy must pay for registered mail.
