MISTERIO –
Water Lily Acoustics WLA-CS-08 –
AWESOME!
Another of the rare recordings by Kavichandran Alexander, MISTERIO features guitar players Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah.
The music session was recorded at Christ the King Chapel, St. Anthony’s Seminary, Santa Barbara, California, utilizing only tube electronics, Blumlein arrangement of the microphones, no augmentation whatsoever, the pressing using only the finest premium vinyl.
Note, as you listen to these two masters, that the marvel of it all stems from Kavi’s meticulous placement of the microphones and his monitoring through both Stax electrostatic headphones and Apogee Caliper Signature Ribbon loudspeakers.
The end result is quite startling and about as close as you can come on records to actually attending the musical event. On a state-of-the-art hi-fi system, this record is a jaw dropper, to say the very least.
An extraordinary record, among few that can deliver as it does: Here in a cover without fault; record within is near mint.
Worthy of the finest vinyl library.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
