When Juno reviewed this debut album in 2024 we praised the New Jersey multi-instrumentalist and producer for "lo-fi post-genre mixes of pop, rock and soul, which echo the likes of Frank Ocean, Connan Mockasin and Dean Blunt". We called the album a riveting listen by a superstar. But just how successful this relatively low-key release on an indie label would end up becoming we don't think anybody could have foretold. It wound up in the top 10 of myriad end of year lists and the tracks from the album have clocked tens of millions of streams. First pressings of this album are going northwards of a grand and to keep up with the ever increasing demand a potentially collectible black marbled variant is now released. The hype surrounding Mk Gee is not going to diminish any time soon.
