Description
I am offering for sale a copy of Alan Parsons - Tales of Mystery and Imagination (of) Edgar Allen Poe on Mobile Fidelity MFSL 1-204. This album was issued in 1976 and originally released on 20th Century 8-508 in the US and on Charisma CDS 4003 in the UK. The tracks are based on stories by Edgar Allen Poe. This is a numbered limited edition and is number 5100. It is pressed on 200 gram virgin vinyl and is analog mastered. Alan Parsons is probably best known for his work on Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.
I play-tested the record on a modified Rega Planar 3 with a Goldring 1042 cartridge. It plays near mint. I also ultrasonically cleaned this disc on my Klaudio KL-200 record cleaning machine, the top of the line in record cleaners. There are no cuts or drill holes in the cover. There is a 1" seam split or abrasion at the bottom center of the back cover. There is a minor 1" crease at the left side of the front cover. The only issue on the back cover is a slight indentation in the lower left corner. The enclosed booklet is clean and fully attached.
