Description
Modern Lovers - Beantown Gems. Some very early recordings of the Modern Lovers, along with some mid-'80s performances by Jonathan. This album was a limited edition of 300, but the cover doesn't have a specific number for this.
Side One: Unreleased 1972 recordings - Modern World (with very different lyrics), She Cracked, Fly Into the Mystery, Hospital, Winters Get Hard [solo], I'm Straight. Side Two: Live in London radio station 1985 - The Beach, Van Gogh, I Must Be King, Lil Insect, on TV in 1986: Better than Before.
Cover: Paper taped to white cover and looks really good.
Vinyl: NM. Sound is very good on most of the album, although "I'm STraight" is only in one channel (speaker) which might explain why it isn't listed on the cover.
