Wonderful vinyl copy of the beloved first album by Boston proto-punks The Modern Lovers! As this record is more a collection of demos than a proper album (frontman Jonathan Richman infamously imploded the band before they could record “final” versions of their songs), it has been released several times over the years with varying tracklists. This particular version, released by Rhino Records in the mid-‘80s, includes the Kim Fowley-produced classics “I’m Straight” and “Government Center” and the self-recorded “Hospital,” as well as the John Cale-produced tracks familiar from other releases. Also features extensive liner notes with the history of the band!

- We're sorry, but we cannot accept personal checks as payment.
- Winners, please contact us within four days. If we do not receive payment from you within three weeks, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and report you as a non-paying bidder.
- Due to the mail theft epidemic in the Italian post office system, we no longer normally ship to addresses in Italy. Exceptions can be made for buyers willing to pay for Priority Mail, which is safer but much more expensive than First Class. Priority Mail can also be tracked. Please contact us if you are interested and we will provide a shipping quote.
