Mint(cover/vinyl)- mint means perfect, appears to be never played, no scratches, no warping, no scuffs.
Near Mint(cover/vinyl)- near mint means the cover or record are nearly perfect with the exception of one scuff, or minor flaw that does not effect the playing of the record.
Excellent(vinyl)- excellent means there are minor scuffs which are visible but only slightly, no scratches.
Excellent(cover)- excellent cover means that the artwork is still perfect with the exception of minor outer ring wear, and white corners meaning wear. No ink wear, nothing obtrusive to the eye, no seam splits or writing.
Very Good+ (vinyl)- will show wear, surface scuffs, and some very light scratches. Luster will still be vibrant, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye.
Very Good+ (cover)- Cover should still look clean with more aging, minor wear to the seams or spine, and some minor corner bending.
Very Good (cover)- VG covers will look worn, used. There may be some seam splitting (but not completely separated!). There will be some ring wear, where the ink has begun to wear off. Giving the cover a look of snow falling. Still has a good look to it but has multiple visible flaws.
Very Good (vinyl)- A good amount of surface scratches and surface scuffs, and will appear well played with some luster still present. vinyl may be faded or slightly grayish.
