I love this band, I've seen them at least 4 times, and am a fan especially of the early albums: Interstate-8, Sad Sappy Sucker, The Fruit That Ate Itself, This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About, Building Nothing Out of Something, The Lonesome Crowded West, and The Moon and Antarctica.
I'm selling off part of my record collection. Although this got stoopid expensive for awhile, here's a chance to grab it cheap -
priced lower than ANY copy on eBay in the last 6+ months.
This double-LP stands out on the record shelf in a good way. The records themselves – the two 220-gram vinyl picture discs – are beautiful scenes from the album art. If I had LP top-loaders like BCW makes, These are actually records I would display. From what I've read, these sound great. Picture discs aren't what they used to be, and these fat slabs of vinyl are sheer art. This has never been played and the spine card is excellent. I put the two hefty LPs into proper inner sleeves. Each has a thin, completely blank jacket with a large die-cut hole. The flimsy jacket does have a couple creases [please see pictures] opposite the spine and out of sight.
