MOFI Ultradisc One Step - MICHAEL JACKSON - Thriller - NEW & SEALED
Super low numbered copy - #3405
The MOFI Ultradisc One-Step edition of Michael Jackson's *Thriller*, released in 2022, is a highly sought-after audiophile pressing commemorating the iconic album's 40th anniversary. This strictly limited edition consists of 40,000 individually numbered box sets, each featuring a single 180g LP pressed at 33 1/3 RPM on MoFi's proprietary SuperVinyl. The album is mastered from the original 1/2" analog master tapes, converted to DSD256, then processed through an analog console to the lathe, ensuring an experience that closely replicates the original master recording.
The One-Step process yields exceptional sonic clarity, surpassing previous pressings with its expansive soundstage, refined instrumental textures, and lifelike vocal detail—all delivered with ultra-low surface noise and high dynamic range. This reissue truly allows listeners to rediscover legendary tracks such as "Billie Jean," "Beat It," "Thriller," "Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’," and "Human Nature" as if hearing them for the first time.
Packaging is equally luxurious: each set is housed in a premium, open-ended slipcase with a foil-stamped jacket and graphics faithful to the original 1982 release, making it a fitting tribute for collectors and audiophiles alike. Both visually and sonically, the MOFI Ultradisc One-Step edition stands as a definitive curatorial artifact of pop history, honoring the groundbreaking success and enduring influence of Michael Jackson's *Thriller*.
