Description
This is the very rare original 1958 LP by MONGO SANTAMARIA Y SUS RITMOS AFRO-CUBANO entitled "Yambu" on RED VINYL on Fantasy Records #3267. The record is in overall very nice condition, being part of a collection purchased from the estate of an exotica collector in 2022 (some titles including another Mongo title are already listed and more will be up shortly). It's a a liitle hard to grade visually due to the translucent red vinyl but it plays VG to VG+. The cover is perfectly intact with four pretty crisp corners except for a small peel on the lower left hand corner visible only from the front (see last picture). The front cover still retains its original shine and the back cover has retained its whiteness. There is some pencil writing on the top left of the back (see pic) and a small ink stamp next to the Side Two titles on the back. The record is still housed in its original see-thru plastic inner sleeve.
