180g Virgin Vinyl, 33-1/3rd rpm
Mastered from the original 15 ips mono analog tapes by Kevin Hodge at the Master Cutting Room and pressed on Classic Records proprietary 200 gram Quiex Super Vinyl Profile virgin vinyl.
NOTE: The LP jacket mistakenly has the mastering information for the CD version of this album, which caused a lot of commotion at the time it was issued, until Mosaic admitted the album cover printing error. The audiophile LP was mastered from the original analog tape.
The best it has ever sounded — on 180g premium vinyl, from the real original master tape.

Purchased new in 2005 when first released, it was pressed on Classic Records 200g Quiex Super Vinyl, and that was during the time that any 200g vinyl associated with Classic Records was suspect for warps. They didn’t have a problem with 180g pressings, but this was pressed on 200g vinyl (I weighed it on a postal scale). I opened it to check for warps, fortunately this was a good one.

Packaging (gatefold): Albums with gatefold covers will have the LP secured outside the cover, between the front and back covers of the gatefold, in order to eliminate the possibility of seam splits and still protect the LP. The cover will then be placed inside a clear poly outer protective album cover and sealed. The album is then carefully centered and “sandwiched” between two oversized cardboard reinforcement pads, which are then carefully taped together, to prevent the album (and LP) from sliding up and down or side to side during transit. This keeps the LP stationary and the album cover centered, allowing the oversized cardboard reinforcement pads to protect the edges and corners from dings. It is hard to describe, but you will understand when you see it.
The album “sandwich” is then packaged with bubble-wrap and Styrofoam peanuts in an oversize box. The box is large enough that it should easily withstand even being dropped directly on its corner without damaging the cover inside. I know very well what it is like to receive poorly packaged records, so I am careful to make sure your album is safely packaged and arrives safely.Tracking: You should automatically receive your Tracking Number by email when the Shipping Label is printed.

One trip through the postal system is enough, so this album is offered with eBay's 'No Return' policy in effect for this listing. As always, if there is a problem with the album itself (e.g., item is somehow not as described), just let me know, I am a reasonable person and eBay's money back guarantee is still in effect. Of course if the album is damaged during transit please let me know immediately and SAVE the packaging because it is needed for the Insurance claim. We will get the Insurance claim filed right away and process your refund as quickly as possible.
