We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

The mono release is very hard to find and contains not only a big bold sound that is suitable to the sound of the sixties but different song mixes from the stereo issue....
The Strawberry Alarm Clock made musical history with its first single, the infectious, psychedelic “Incense and Peppermints,” which topped the national singles charts in December 1967 and remains one of the Aquarian Age’s most enduring anthems. But, as the California combo’s debut LP demonstrates, there was a lot more to the Strawberry Alarm Clock than their iconic trademark hit. Like its namesake hit, Incense and Peppermints combines catchy melodic flights with an edgy progressive sensibility that manifests itself in the trippy soundscapes, sophisticated harmonies and evocative lyrics of such memorable tracks as “The World’s on Fire,” “Birds in My Tree,” “Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow” and “Paxton’s Back Street Carnival.” The result is a timless cool album that results in one of the more delightful artifacts of the psychedelic era, a strangely compelling mix of psychedelia, sunshine poprock, garage rock, and California harmony.
