Description
MONO The Rolling Stones THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST 1st U.S. London Records NP-2 maroon labels.
1st U.S. pressing from 1967
Bell tolls three times at beginning of "The Lantern" that indicates true MONO mix not Stereo fold-down.
Includes original inner sleeve
Fully tested and listened to, no skips on my Technics with 1.9 grams of weight on my stylus despite the warp.
Record has edge warp that causes "swoosh" sound noticeable at quieter passages and in between tracks. Overall record condition is VG, but plays VG+ most of the time.
The warp is not very noticeable on side 1, side 2 it is more pronounced at the middle and end of the record.
Side 1: VG+ "Sing This All Together" - "The Citadel" - swoosh between tracks - "In Another Land" swoosh noticeable at end and in between tracks - "2000 Man" - swoosh in background at beginning - "Sing This All Together" swoosh at beginning
Side 2: VG swoosh soft during "The Lantern", noticeable between tracks especially, louder during "The Gomper" in beginning then fades, noticeable between tracks and at beginning of "2000 Light Years From Home", fades once music kicks in, noticeable during quiet middle passage and end of song.
COVER in VG with rubbing and wear/chipping around seams, top seam in inner gatefold has clear tape along edge (not very noticeable), no splits, inner gatefold looks great, cutout hole in upper right hand corner, owner's name in faded blue pen on back cover above song titles, The lenticular image has scratches and glue residue noticeable on front of image (see photos).
INNER SLEEVE in VG with splits in middle seams about 2"
