** Rare ORIGINAL 1967 UK * STEREO * DERAM VINYL LP ON EARLY DERAMIC SOUND SYSTEM RED / WHITE LARGE LABEL - 1W / 2W FIRST PRESSING - WITH BOXED BIEM NCB TEXT AND "ALL RIGHTS OF THE MANUFACTURER" TEXT ON LABELS **
A Very Good+ condition disc. A very hard-to-see small scratch on Side 1, Track 1, which causes a few minor clicks, but otherwise this record would have been graded as Excellent. There are a few light surface hairline marks where the album has been taken out of its sleeve over the years - but these can mainly be seen only under a strong light. Some visible spindle marks. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, or writing on labels. Very good sound quality throughout, with very little surface noise - apart from the one track previously noted. A very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Original laminated sleeve in Very Good+ condition. "Printed in England by Clout & Baker Ltd." Very little general wear. Some minor creasing. No tears. No rips. No writing anywhere. No seam splits anywhere. Spine in excellent condition, with all text clearly legible. Some age-related discolouration/light stains in places on rear of sleeve.
Supplied in original company inner-sleeve, with polythene insert. This is in Excellent- condition, with no tears, seam splits or writing anywhere, but with some age-related discolouration in places.
GRADING:
All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
