On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Moody Blues called 'In Search Of The Lost Chord' and is a 1968 MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 'TRUE' 1968 MONO 1ST PRESSING!!!!  THIS LP IS AMAZINGLY RARE AS IT HAS A 'GROOVED' EARLIEST 1ST PRESS LABEL!!!!  'GROOVED' DECCA/DERAM LABELS WERE LAST PRESSED IN EARLY 1968 BEFORE THE LATER 'FLAT' LABELS REPLACED THEM.  'GROOVED' LABELS ON A DECCA/DERAM PRESSING ARE WITHOUT DOUBT THE DEFINITIVE WAY TO DETERMINE 1ST PRESSINGS OF ANY DECCA/DERAM LP PRESSED IN EARLY 1968 (OR BEFORE).  OF COURSE THE 'GROOVE' IN THE LABEL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LABELS THEMSELVES AND IS OF COURSE THE SHAPE OF THE PRESSING MACHINE WHICH PRESSED THE VINYL.  DECCA MUST HAVE HAD A RE-FIT IN 1968 AS YOU WILL NEVER  FIND AN LP PRESSED AFTER 1968 WITH A 'GROOVED' LABEL.  AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO AMAZINGLY RARE!!!!  ONLY A TINY FRACTION OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE PRESSED ON THE 'GROOVED' DERAM LABEL BEFORE THEY WERE REPLACED!!!!  AND THIS IS THE FIRST MONO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP I HAVE SEEN ON THE 'GROOVED' 1ST PRESS 'DSS' MONO DERAM LABEL FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME!!!!  THIS IS THE 1968 MONO 1ST PRESSING WITH A 1ST PRESS MONO 'DSS' GATEFOLD LAMINATED COVER, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE AND MONO 1ST PRESS 'DSS' DERAM LABELS!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!  1968 'EARLIEST' 1ST MONO PRESSINGS OF THIS LP ON THE 'GROOVED' 1ST PRESS 'DSS' DERAM LABELS ARE VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Deram 1968 UK 1st MONO pressing and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is DML 711 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press MONO 'Grooved' DSS Deram Label (see picture) and is a UK 1968 MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Moody Blues at their best!!!! Any fan of The Moody Blues, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines (only visible under light) and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Excellent (Minus)!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also has its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press Laminated Robert Stace Gatefold Cover is in STUNNING CONDITION!!!! It has barely ANY edge wear AT ALL (only MEGA slight thickening to cardboard on the back edges - front flap is PERFECT), NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases (Cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are PERFECTLY straight with NO feathering (MEGA RARE on this cover)!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, NO wear and barely ANY yellowing AT ALL!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 'GROOVED' MONO 1ST PRESSING!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
