Description
MORBID ANGEL Covenant CANDLE WAX VINYL 100 ONLY g/fold sleeve inner METAL
Morbid Angel, Covenant.
2011 UK pressed Earache Records Mosh081LP1.
This 2011 reissue housed in thick card gatefold sleeve with lyric inner was pressed in a limited run with Candle Wax - 100 copies, Sanguine Red - 200 Copies, Diseased Green - 300 Copies and Black - 900 Copies.
This "Candle Wax" yellow/orange with white speckling variant is the rarest of the rare and limited to just 100 copies.
On the whole a very clean and bright issue with no noticeable spider trail marks around the spindle areas.
The playing surfaces are bright and close to near mint with one exception. There are approx three visible marks, all confined to an area within tracks two and three of side one, which have the appearance of thumbnail or blunt object scrapes. These are not deep or feelable. Although these are slightly unsightly they do not run deep enough to cause any annoying ticks. Some minor crackle is heard in these areas, but given the nature of the music this is mainly noticeable in the band separator areas. Else playback is excellent throughout.
Heavy duty inner sleeve EX bar slight diagonal corner creases to bottom left and fractionally so to right.
External gatefold sleeve is mostly bright, fresh and well preserved. A diagonal corner crease to bottom right and just a touch of knocking to tip at top right corner. Else a strong EX with just a fraction of shelving hairlining and rubbing. Main panels, edges and entry side all clean and crisp and without wear. No rubbing or rounding to tips bar the slight knock mentioned.
