Description
Original 1963 CHESS pressing of the CHUCK BERRY album, MORE CHUCK BERRY (LP-1465 MONO)
AMG : More Chuck Berry is a retitled reissued of the 1962 LP Chuck Berry Twist which itself is a collection of Chuck Berry Chess singles, most of them dating from the late '50s. There's no twisting here, just a bunch of rock & roll, beginning with "Maybellene" and then running through "Roll over Beethoven," "Around and Around," "School Days," "Reelin' and Rockin'," "Johnny B. Goode," and "Rock & Roll Music." There are a couple relatively smaller singles here -- "Oh Baby Doll," "Almost Grown," "Thirty Days" -- and the whole thing adds up to a really fun listen, even if all the tracks are now easier to track down elsewhere.
Condition: both the sleeve- still in the shrink wrap- and the record grade EX. Original inner sleeve included, the record ships in an anti-static, dust free, archival sleeve. Check out my feedback score; you won't be disappointed.
