Rare Original SEMIE MOSELEY LP
"I’M STANDING TALLER"
Moseley Records # SM 318
A great rarity by the inventor of the MOSRITE GUITAR! Semie Moseley invented the Mosrite Guitar in the early 1950’s and owned the factory which produced them for the next 15 years. An informative article about the history of Semie Moseley and Mosrite Guitars can be seen by clicking HERE.
Just as a vintage Mosrite is a great guitar rarity, this album is a great vinyl rarity. Produced by Semie Moseley himself on his own Moseley Record Label in Bakersfield, California, nine of these ten songs are original Gospel numbers written by Moseley. The back cover has pictures from the Mosrite Guitar Factory and extensive notes about this factory and about Semie Moseley. This rare LP would make a nice addition to any record collection or a great piece for a guitar memorabilia collection.
COVER: VG + (VERY GOOD PLUS): Minor flaws. May include light surface wear or light ring wear. Can include some seam or spine wear, however there are no splits or tears in this condition unless indicated. Possible creasing or dings, but still relatively minor in this condition.
VINYL: VG + (VERY GOOD PLUS): A few visual imperfections or minor flaws. Possible light scuffing or light scratching but not deep. Light audible imperfection may be present. The surface is still clean and retains much of the original gloss and luster.
(This record has a long visible surface scratch on side one, but it cannot be felt on the grooves.)
All LPs come packaged carefully in a sturdy corrugated box made specifically for mailing LPs plus a cardboard insert. The covers are placed in clear plastic record sleeves. The vinyl is removed from the cover (except for SEALED items) for shipping to prevent seam splitting during shipment.
