Description
Some members were originally from the East Coast, but they formed in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. This very obscure band played mostly local venues, free concerts and several rock festivals in the Northwest. Headliners several times at the Retina Circus. They recorded two albums and Robin Spurgen used them as the backing band for “J.K. &Co.” when that album was recorded. They are somewhat diverse and difficult to categorize, but promote country rock, psych, blues, jazz and even poetry. From the bed of great psych bands along with "The Collectors", "My Indole Ring" and others, "Mother Tuckers Yellow Duck" is the real thing. The albums are extremely hard to find and are usually priced fairly high. "Home Grown Stuff" their first album was reissued or booted, this second album has no reissue in any form. Both albums are well worth seeking out.
The "black" Cover was done over (quick nicely) with a black ink magic marker. You can't tell unless you really look at it in the light. There is some minor edge wear. The record has some visible marks, but it plays EX throughout. A real nice copy.
