Description
Very Hard to Find... especially in this condition. I have owned this for years, since the 1980s.
MOTLEY CRUE - FRIENDS OF THE DEVIL - RARE 2 x Vinyl LP Set - featuring songs from the bands performance at the 1983 US Festival. It also includes two songs from Ozzy Osbourne's performance, which was Jake E. Lees first show with Ozzy as his guitarist.
These were from the radio broadcast of the show and fan circulated in 1983. You can also hear interludes from the show organizers announcing to the crowd that water is being circulated and also the radio announcers chiming in between some tracks.
Note that while the labels look like different artist and track listings but it is, indeed, Motley Crue and Ozzy Osbourne from the US Festival in 1983. This was by design as it was unofficially traded.
Also, the covers track listing is not complete but I've listed the full track listing and order in the description. Cover is also VG+ with some ring wear and minor storage/age wear.
The track listing is as follows:
LP 2 (Yellow label that list artist "Vessels of Praise")
Side 2: features Ozzy's two songs, "Take Us Away/Suicide Solution", "Flying High Again" and "Paranoid" and Side 1: begins Motley Crue's set featuring "Take Me To The Top" and "Looks That Kill"
LP1 (Silver label that list artist "Yugoslav Folk Dances")
Side B: continues Motley Crue's set and features "Knock Em' Dead" and "Live Wire" and Side A: "Helter Skelter" and "Shout At The Devil"
This is a truly unique boot that is hard to find from back in the day.
CONDITION: Both LPs are a solid EX with regards to vinyl condition. The yellow label has bubbling on both sides but that does not affect the vinyl quality whatsoever. Both LPs are in poly-lined sleeves.
The Cover is a solid VG+ with some minor ring wear and edge/corner wear. The cover is in great condition and looks great.
