2017 repress - Vinyl version with 10 cherry picked tracks from the CD version - K7! present ten choice unmixed selections of deep end House, soul and cosmic jazz taken from Motor City Drum Ensemble's DJ-Kicks Mix. For the House heads you'll find classic material such as Peven Everett's 'Stuck' and the broken flex of Isolée's remix for Recloose's 'Cardiology', plus a merry gem in Rick Poppa Howard's 'Can Your Love Find It's Way (Club Vocal)'. The disco picks are on point too, covering the graceful glide of a Walter Gibbons mix of Arts & Craft's 'I've Been Searching', and James Mason's sought after 'Sweet Power, Your Embrace', but they all pale in significance in the company of Sun Ra's majestic groover 'Door To The Cosmos'."
