CHISWICK BARCLAY LABEL 1977 RARE FRANCE PRESSING WITH RARE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION.

If you reading this you know this is a monster MOTORHEAD rarity that never gets offered for sale.
Released in 1977 at the height of punk on the CHISWICK BARCLAY label, I have the pleasure of offering today this original and extremely hard to find mega rare French pressing of this stunning debut MOTORHEAD album which is simply titled " MOTORHEAD". This was the first album to feature the classic and finest line up of LEMMY, FAST EDDIE CLARKE & PHILTHY ANIMAL TAYLOR and is in collectable archive condition. Not an album you see offered too often these days.
The album comes complete with its original and rare matt gatefold sleeve which was only ever issued in France and is in near mint condition with clean edges and fully legible wide spine. A great item for any Motorhead collector.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and apart from it being a very enjoyable listen, I am pleased to say that it plays extremely well with absolutely no sticks or skips etc, every track on this great debut album is superb.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks barely played near mint and audibly is in excellent condition a great player with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc but there is some light surface during the run offs.
The SLEEVE, The gatefold sleeve which shows photos on the inner gate by Motorcycle Irene is in extremely clean condition and the spine is fully legible. You will go a long way to find a cleaner example.
The LABELS, The Chiswick map labels are very clean, They show virtually no spindle traces . You can see that this is barely played needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The Original generic inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
